This design was inspired by one of the designer's quilt designs published in their quilt book titled SUMMER WEEKEND. The addition of a rose and forget-me-nots further enhance this gorgeous design.

And this version, stitched by Christy McDonals Gill using the called for 32 Creek Bed Brown linen by R&R Reproductions. Mostly called for threads with GA Ohio lemon pie, WDW Curry and Honeysuckle for the yellow rose. I also decided to put the initials KLB for Katharine Lee Bates who wrote the poem which the song America the Beautiful was composed and 1910 for the year it was first published as a song.
