This is one of my favorite charts to work as a wedding present. This one was done for my niece, Amy Wells. I normally work the project on 25 count Laguna or 28 ct Jobelin over two threads. The pattern appeared in the January/February 1984 issue of Just CrossStitch magazine. I've framed it in an oval dark cordovan color frame but have been using this cutout mat in a wood frame as shown below. The original as shown on the cover of the magazine was stitched on paper. The Flowering Heart Wedding Sampler matted in a slightly different way for our granddaughter, Becca. (Scroll down to 2nd image)
