Masthead Image

The counted cross-stitch image shown above is called Aunt Lucy's Place. It reminds my husband of  an old homestead where he spent many happy hours as a child. Designed by Linda Meyers and originally called Autumn at Sinking Creek, it now hangs in our dining room. View a larger image of Aunt Lucy's Place.

Home for Christmas Counted Cross Stitch Stocking

The Home for Christmas Counted Cross Stitch Stocking pattern appeared in the July/August 1986 issue of Cross Stitch & Country Crafts magazine. The finished size is approximately 10"x15."The stocking was stitched on 25ct Lugana and was a gift for my granddaughter Rebecca Martin

This was a series of nine stocking originally published in Cross Stitch & Country Crafts
and again available in a soft cover book by Better Homes and Gardens - Heirloom Christmas Stockings. I found it listed at The Silver Needle for a reasonable price of $19.95. I also found it listed for as much as $154!
