Masthead Image

The counted cross-stitch image shown above is called Aunt Lucy's Place. It reminds my husband of  an old homestead where he spent many happy hours as a child. Designed by Linda Meyers and originally called Autumn at Sinking Creek, it now hangs in our dining room. View a larger image of Aunt Lucy's Place.

Rainbow Row

Charleston's Rainbow Row consists of 14 private homes that date from 1740 when it served as Charleston's waterfront district. The owners choose to paint the homes in a rainbow of colors. Theses houses can still be seen today in historical downtown Charleston, SC. This was one of the most difficult pictures I have stitched because of the width. I normally use a scroll bar and this would not fit on any I had so I used a hoop. This Rainbow Row Charleston SC chart is  by Barbara & Cheryl. It was stitched on 14 count ivory Aida ane doublematted with two shades of blue then framed in a gold frame. The finished size framed is  41"x14" Stitch count: 116H X 494W.
